DANCE  CLASS SUMMER  SCHEDULE

 

SUMMER  SESSION  MEETS:

July 7th through August 16th

All classes  (except Tiny Tots) are once per week for  a six week session.
Tiny Tots is ongoing, all summer, every week.

PROPER DANCE ATTIRE IS: PINK TIGHTS,   LEOTARD, PINK BALLET SHOES  & BLACK TAP  SHOES

(TAP-TIES ARE REQUIRED AND ARE AVAILABLE  
AT OUR STUDIO.)

DANCE DISCOVERY:  Pink Leotard

READINESS & DYNAMICS:  Lavender Leotard

ALL STARZ:  Burgundy Leotard

BOYS: White shirt/black pants/black dance shoes

CURRICULUM

 

DANCE DISCOVERY……………...…….….Ages 2-5

DANCE DISCOVERY ..………………….….Ages 3-5

Discover Dance in a fun & nurturing environment.  Your little one will learn to love ballet, creative movement, and a touch of tap taught through interactive games and imaginative play.  Individual attention emphasized.

 45 minutes per week

 

DANCE DYNAMICS……………………..…….Ages 4-7

Your dancer’s own development sets the pace for this exciting ballet, jazz, tap and  basic floor gymnastics class. Ballet Barre is introduced. Progress as quickly as you are ready. Elementary understanding of terminology and choreography reinforced through creative play.

60 minutes per week

 

DANCE READINESS………………………….Ages 6-12

Now your  dancer is ready to emphasize the Ballet Barre, & intermediate floor gymnastics!  We  focus on basic technique, co-ordination and execution & translation of  ballet terminology.  Strength, flexibility and more complex choreography are emphasized in an atmosphere of fun!   Jazz now incorporates isolations, rhythm and musicality.  Tap level is progressive as well.

60 minutes per week
